Many assume "I can log in and see the channel list, so my connection is fine." Wrong. Logging in goes to one server; the actual video comes from another. The first can work while the second is throttled, blocked, or down. This is the single most misdiagnosed part of IPTV buffering — and why "restart the router" so often changes nothing.
